Merry Christmas...to the Christians?

Merry Christmas everyone! Today I was on facebook, scrolling through my endless newsfeed, when I kept seeing posts saying "Merry Christmas...to all the Christians!" I am a Christian, born and raised Methodist who celebrates Christmas, but that doesn't mean that non relgious people don't. I have a Jewish friend that celebrates Hannukah and Christmas, and my athiest friend celebrates too. Christmas in America has been so commercialized that its not just a religious holiday any more. In the United States, it's become a nation wide celebration based on consumerism. I am NOT saying in anyway that Christmas isn't about Christ's birth, but I'm also not saying that only Christians celebrate.
